LIV Golf has officially confirmed the dates for the fourth edition of HSBC LIV Golf Hong Kong, scheduled for 18–21 February 2027 at the historic Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling. The announcement, made during a press conference at the venue, reaffirms the league’s long-term commitment to the region and solidifies the multi-year partnership between LIV Golf, title sponsor HSBC, the Hong Kong SAR Government, and Hong Kong Golf Club. LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil highlighted the tournament’s strategic importance as a cornerstone of the league’s international calendar and a key gateway for golf’s growth in Asia. “Hong Kong is a dynamic market where sport, entertainment, and culture are celebrated on a global scale,” O’Neil said. “Announcing our 2027 event a year in advance is a testament to the local support and momentum building in Hong Kong.” He extended thanks to HSBC, the HKSAR Government, and Hong Kong Golf Club for sharing the vision of delivering a world-class event that connects with fans of all ages and generates significant economic benefits for the region.

HSBC Managing Director and Global Head of Brand Partnerships Andrea de Vincentiis emphasized the bank’s enduring legacy in golf and its alignment with Hong Kong’s global profile. “HSBC has supported golf globally for more than 20 years, and our partnership with LIV Golf represents a natural evolution of that legacy,” de Vincentiis said. “HSBC LIV Golf Hong Kong showcases the city to a global audience while contributing to the growth of the game across Asia.” Hong Kong Golf Club Captain Andy Kwok echoed the sentiment, noting the venue’s pride in hosting elite competition while introducing new energy and audiences to Fanling.

Since debuting in 2024, HSBC LIV Golf Hong Kong has delivered memorable competition at one of Asia’s most respected championship courses. The event forms part of LIV Golf’s 14-event global schedule, which has collectively generated more than $1 billion in economic impact for host cities through tourism, hospitality, and international broadcast reach exceeding 900 million households. The 2026 edition is currently underway at Hong Kong Golf Club, featuring a 57-player field, premium hospitality, live entertainment, and a Saturday concert by GRAMMY-nominated DJ Dom Dolla on 7 March.

The early confirmation of the 2027 dates underscores the strength and stability of the partnership, positioning HSBC LIV Golf Hong Kong as a flagship stop in Asia and a continued driver of golf’s expansion in the region.
