Hong Kong SAR, 17 September 2025 – LIV Golf is set to make a triumphant return to the Hong Kong Golf Club from 6-8 March 2026 for the third edition of its Hong Kong event, now rebranded as HSBC LIV Golf Hong Kong. This landmark title partnership with HSBC marks the first time a LIV Golf tournament has secured a title sponsor, a significant milestone since the league’s inception as the Invitational Series in 2022 and its evolution into a full-season League in 2023.
The HSBC LIV Golf Hong Kong tournament will bring 54 of the world’s top golfers, including stars like defending champion Sergio Garcia, Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, and Cam Smith, to compete in LIV Golf’s signature individual and team formats. Held at the historic Fanling course, the event promises three days of high-energy competition, live music, family-friendly activities, and vibrant fan experiences in one of Asia’s most dynamic cities. Fans can join the waitlist for hospitality packages and grounds passes at LIVGolf.com, with the event broadcast live on AXN Sports.
This title sponsorship stems from a global, multi-year partnership between LIV Golf and HSBC, the league’s first global banking and financial organization partner. The collaboration underscores shared values of innovation, accessibility, and global impact. “Partnering with HSBC elevates this marquee event to new levels,” said LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil. “Hong Kong welcomed LIV Golf with extraordinary enthusiasm from the very beginning, and we are proud to return to this special city and course to deliver another unforgettable experience.”
The Hong Kong Golf Club, the oldest golf club in China, will once again provide a world-class stage. “The first two editions in 2024 and 2025 were incredibly successful, drawing record numbers of fans from the Greater Bay Area and beyond,” said Club Captain Andy Kwok. The event, awarded ‘M’ Mark status, has solidified Hong Kong’s place on the global sporting map. A longer-term agreement ensures the tournament will return in 2027, reinforcing LIV Golf’s commitment to the region.
HSBC’s involvement goes beyond sponsorship. “For 160 years, HSBC has been connecting Hong Kong to the world, and we bring this same philosophy to our sponsorships,” said Barry O’Byrne, HSBC’s CEO of International Wealth and Premier Banking. The partnership will include exclusive experiences for HSBC customers, with a special presale planned in the coming months. Additionally, HSBC and LIV Golf will collaborate on community-focused initiatives to grow the game and enhance accessibility during the event week.
Building on the success of previous tournaments, where Fireballs GC dominated with Abraham Ancer’s win in 2024 and Sergio Garcia’s individual and team victories in 2025, the 2026 event will feature a star-studded lineup and LIV Golf’s signature fan village, complete with interactive experiences and enhanced viewing platforms. The tournament joins LIV Golf’s 2026 global schedule, including stops in Riyadh, Adelaide, Singapore, and the United Kingdom, further cementing the league’s growing presence in Asia and beyond.
HSBC LIV Golf Hong Kong promises to be a celebration of world-class golf, entertainment, and community engagement, setting a new standard for the sport in Asia. Fans and players alike can look forward to an electrifying weekend at one of the region’s most iconic venues.
