Fireballs GC has confirmed its roster for the 2026 LIV Golf season, featuring captain Sergio Garcia at the forefront of the league’s first all-Spanish lineup following his multi-year extension. The Spanish legend will guide fellow countrymen David Puig, Josele Ballester, and Luis Masaveu in a team defined by national pride and emerging talent.

“Returning to Fireballs GC and LIV Golf reinforces everything we are building,” Garcia said. “With David and Josele playing well in 2025 and Luis joining the team for 2026, our identity and competitive edge are stronger than ever, rooted in pride, purpose, and our collective emotional connection to the game of golf. LIV Golf continues to set the pace globally, and I’m committed to leading this group as we push forward and keep raising the standard.”

Garcia posted another strong season in 2025, finishing ninth in the individual standings—his third top-10 in four LIV campaigns. His victory in Hong Kong marked his third win of the year and made him one of only three players to secure individual titles in each of the last two seasons, while providing leadership for the team's youthful core.

The announcement builds on a successful 2025, where Fireballs GC achieved third in the regular-season standings (its best since 2022), claimed three consecutive team wins in Adelaide, Hong Kong, and Singapore, and earned points in 11 of 13 events.

David Puig
The 24-year-old Puig continues his ascent since joining LIV Golf as a professional in 2022, recording worldwide victories in each of the last three years—including last month’s Australian PGA Championship. In 2025 LIV play, he achieved his first top-24 finish, earned points in all 12 regular-season starts (a feat matched only by Jon Rahm), and posted four top-10s, establishing himself as one of the league’s top young prospects.

Josele Ballester
Ballester, 22, quickly made his mark after joining midseason in 2025. The former U.S. Amateur champion reached his first podium via a playoff at LIV Golf Chicago and recently claimed his maiden professional win at the PIF Saudi International powered by Softbank Investment Advisers.

Luis Masaveu
The 23-year-old Masaveu returns after eight appearances in 2025, including key contributions to the three consecutive team victories. A former top amateur progressing steadily as a pro, Masaveu adds competitive depth and familiarity with the LIV format to the lineup.

“This year marked real growth for me, and a lot of that comes from learning every day alongside Sergio,” Puig said. “His experience, his standards, and the way he leads have helped me mature quickly. Being a part of the Fireballs has really accelerated my development and I’m excited to build on the growth I’ve already seen.”

As the only team with at least one victory in each of LIV Golf’s four seasons, Fireballs GC heads into 2026 as one of the youngest rosters in the league—poised to challenge for team championships and individual titles alike.
